We are thrilled to introduce this year’s summer camp theme:

Reality Shows: Future Innovators Academy!

In a rapidly changing world, awareness is the first step toward impact. By awakening awareness early, we help children grow into thoughtful, innovative leaders prepared to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

This summer, Headway Success Group is hosting a purpose-driven experience designed to help children think critically about the world they are growing up in—and empower them to respond with confidence and creativity.

Our campers will explore real-world challenges in areas such as environmental concerns, health and wellness, food access, technology, community needs, and future careers. Then, they will ask a powerful question:

“How can I help solve this?”

But this isn’t just discussion. It’s hands-on innovation.

Throughout the summer, students will engage in interdisciplinary learning that integrates:

Campers will apply real-world math skills by:

• Creating and managing mock budgets
• Calculating costs, pricing, and profit
• Conducting surveys and analyzing data
• Building graphs and interpreting statistics
• Measuring and scaling prototype designs

They won’t just solve equations—they’ll use math to support their ideas.

Using a simplified design-thinking model, campers will:

• Identify real problems
• Brainstorm solutions
• Build prototypes
• Test and refine their designs

They will explore basic engineering concepts such as structure, measurement, materials, and efficiency while learning that mistakes are part of innovation.

Campers will study innovators and problem-solvers who changed the world, including:

• George Washington Carver
• Madam C.J. Walker
• Thomas Edison
• Marie Curie

They will examine how historical challenges led to creative solutions and how innovation has shaped communities over time.

Strong ideas deserve strong voices. Campers will develop:

• Research skills
• Persuasive writing
• Public speaking and pitch presentations
• Vocabulary development related to innovation and leadership
• Structured storytelling to communicate their ideas effectively

At the end of camp, students will participate in an Innovation Showcase, where they will confidently present their solutions to a panel.

This isn’t pretend play.
This is purpose-driven innovation.
